The role requires a background in fitness, CPR/AED certification, and the ability to guide clients through training plans while maintaining high standards of customer care. This position is on-site at our facility in Missouri.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED Certified.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instructs clients during sessions on the safe and effective use of equipment.
• Reads, watches, and engages in required training associated with the role.
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to members to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Remains current on certifications and industry trends.
• Ensures members feel competent and connected by delivering superior customer service.
• Documents all aspects of client programming.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or related field
