Royal Poinciana Golf Club in Naples, FL seeks a skilled Pastry Cook to join our Culinary team. The role focuses on daily pastry production, desserts, show pieces, wedding cakes, and adherence to RP Culinary Standards, with strong attention to quality and sanitation.

The ideal candidate has apprenticeship or culinary degree and at least 5 years of experience in a premium club or fine dining setting, plus fluent English and flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• apprenticeship/degree preferred
• minimum 5 years of experience in quality high-volume private club, hotel, or fine dining
• ability to read, write and speak English
• flexibility to work weekends/holidays and odd hours if needed
• professional appearance and conduct; drug-free workplace compliance

Responsabilités

• Assist in daily pastry production including desserts, wedding cakes, show pieces, chocolates, petits fours and artisan breads
• Maintain quality food production and follow RP Culinary standards
• Decorate and plate pastries with attention to taste and presentation
• Create new pastry recipes using classical and modern techniques
• Control waste and manage stock rotation, labeling and dating of stored foods
