Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Executive Oncology Sales Specialist (OSS) to cover the Worcester, MA territory, including Foxborough, Plymouth, and Marlborough. This field-based role reports to a District Manager and focuses on current and new oncology therapeutics with emphasis on reimbursement and customer engagement.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, a valid driver's license, and 2+ years in pharmaceutical or related sales, with hospital/large account experience and credentialing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel including overnights and weekends.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience.
• Experience in hospital and large account sales with reimbursement issues.
• Willingness to satisfy credentialing requirements including TB tests, vaccines, and background checks.
• Residing in the geography or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential new oncology therapeutics.
• Demonstrate clinical efficacy knowledge and value proposition; provide clinical information as needed.
• Develop account strategies with District Manager and plan penetration routes.
• Create customer-specific pre- and post-call plans with objectives and supporting materials.
• Penetrate new and current accounts to increase sales in the territory.
• Discuss reimbursement options with customers to improve sales opportunities.
• Negotiate sales and close orders to meet objectives.
