Job summary

First Western is seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Originator in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This position plays a key role in helping high‑net‑worth clients achieve their financial goals through detailed loan services. The candidate will develop a referral network and provide exceptional client service throughout the loan process.

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 1‑3 years of relevant mortgage lending experience are required. This is a full‑time exempt role with strong bonus potential and various benefits, including a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of TILA, RESPA, and MDIA regulations.
• 1-3 years of recent residential mortgage lending experience.
• Strong understanding of the SAFE Act and Fair Lending.

Responsibilities

• Meet individual annual sales goals assigned by the management.
• Develop a referral network through various outreach efforts.
• Spend over 50% of working time soliciting new business.
• Provide exceptional customer service during loan transactions.
• Conduct interviews with applicants to determine loan eligibility.
• Complete all loan disclosures accurately and timely.

Skills

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Understanding of MS applications and loan origination systems

Knowledge of mortgage regulatory requirements

Ability to analyze complex financial data

Mortgage loan processing and underwriting knowledge
