Job summary

Medical City Dallas NICU is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Level IV unit on a full-time night shift (7P-7A). You will provide advanced neonatal care in a high-acuity setting within our 108-bed NICU and collaborate with a dedicated team.

This role requires ADN/BSN, Texas RN license, and NICU experience. You will administer care plans, supervise staff, and engage in ongoing teaching to ensure quality outcomes for the most vulnerable patients.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN required with Magnet Hospital designation.
• Texas State RN license or compact license required.
• One year of recent Level III/IV NICU experience in an acute care hospital.
• STABLE certification must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS certification or BCLS Instructor certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
