Amentum is seeking a Helicopter Pilot (Instructor) to join our rotary-wing flight training team at Fort Rucker, Alabama. The role focuses on preparing military aviators through rigorous instruction and safety-focused flight training.

Qualified applicants will possess appropriate FAA/ICAO certificates and flight hours, with experience instructing instrument training. The program emphasizes safety and high standards while offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold ICAO or FAA commercial pilot certificate plus rotorcraft instructor certificate with rotorcraft and instrument ratings.
• Total flight time of 1500 hours with PIC/PI experience.
• Must certify 100 hours of hooded instrument, flight simulator instrument, or weather pilot time.
• Must have instructed students in instrument flight training.
• Night Flying - 75 hours.
• Instructor Time - 500 hours.
• Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate.
• NVG qualified with 200 hours NVG time.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Instructors teach, coach, and mentor student pilots through intensive training.
• Safety remains paramount in Rotary Wing Flight Training.
• Instructors conduct flight instruction over a large area within the National Airspace System.
