FirstLine Road Solutions in Texas is seeking a Heavy Duty Towing Operator to join our team. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and excellent customer service, with general automobile knowledge desired. You will be responsible for safe, timely dispatch responses and heavy-duty towing tasks.

Ideal candidates have a Class A CDL, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT medical exam. This position includes roadside services, safety inspections, and adherence to company procedures in

Competenze

• Candidate must reside near assigned area to meet service time requirements.
• Ability to pass DOT medical exam.
• Current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• All required state-based licensure.
• Class A CDL (no automatics).
• Ability to bend, stoop, walk and stand for periods in all weather.
• Willing to take a drug test and background check.
• Proficient with using mobile and computer apps for administrative work.
• Experience: 1 year operating a Heavy Duty Tow Truck or hauling via Semi-trailer.
• Heavy Equipment or Machine Operation skills a plus.

Mansioni

• Respond to calls dispatched to you in a safe, timely manner, documenting status and ETA.
• Communicate with dispatch professionally, providing necessary information for documentation.
• Perform damage-free towing and safe, professional emergency road service tasks.
• Perform minor roadside repairs (excluding highways).
• Tow heavy-duty vehicles such as 18-wheelers, garbage trucks, dump trucks, cement trucks.
• Perform accident towing and scene cleanup as required.
• Daily inspections of the truck for safety, organization and equipment; complete pre-shift inspection.
• Report damaged or missing tools or equipment immediately.
• Maintain clean vehicle and yard; secure storage area when leaving.
• All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
