Job summary

Waste Pro seeks an experienced truck technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical and hydraulic systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks, including CNG systems. Welding and fabrication may be required.

You will use diagnostic tools and service manuals, communicate with managers and drivers, and maintain safety and paperwork standards in a dynamic shop and field environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of suspension, brake, electrical and hydraulic systems on trucks.
• Ability to diagnose, diagnose and repair vehicle systems to maximize uptime.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and interpreting service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, body components and systems on heavy/light duty trucks.
• Communicate issues and preventive techniques with managers and drivers.
• Complete required paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean work area.
• Use vehicle electronics to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
