Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Otolaryngologist (ENT) for a full-time position in Mattoon, Illinois. The role offers a large, established practice with a broad ENT scope, opportunities for expansion, and non-traditional blocks such as 7-on/7-off or alternate-week rotations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Otolaryngology Residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology.
• Active Illinois medical license or immediate eligibility to obtain.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Excellent clinical judgment, surgical skill, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical and surgical ENT interventions across a broad, high-demand general otolaryngology practice scope (including general ENT, rhinology, laryngology, otology, and pediatric ENT).
• Utilize state-of-the-art surgical suites across multiple sites, performing cases at the main Mattoon operating rooms and outpatient surgery center, with options to support expansion and outpatient cases at an additional facility in Effingham.
• Design and establish your ideal practice schedule; leadership is highly accommodating and prepared to support non-traditional blocks (such as 7-on/7-off or every-other-week rotations) for regional or out-of-state commuting physicians.
• Collaborate fluidly with an extensive internal primary care and pediatric referral network to handle high-volume, immediate patient backlogs.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all clinical encounters, surgical documentation, and patient follow-up care.
