Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a humanities field from US Schools (Master’s or higher preferred).
• Teaching experience in English or college-level Writing Center (1 year).
• Demonstrated academic excellence (e.g., 3.5 GPA).
• Strong verbal skills and mastery of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Teach and Inspire: Instruct small groups of students in English core skills for college readiness exams (ACT & SAT).
• Track Growth: Monitor student progress across Vanguard’s multi-phase curriculum with individualized growth opportunities.
• Manage and Model: Maintain lesson schedules, ensure timely assignments, and demonstrate professionalism and organization.
• Innovate: Develop and update lesson plans and curriculum to reflect evolving needs.
• Mentor: Guide middle/high school students through the college application process.
