Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in humanities from US Schools; Master's preferred.
• Teaching English or college-level Writing Center experience (1+ years).
• Demonstrated academic excellence (3.5+ GPA).
• Strong verbal skills and mastery of the English language.
• Proficiency with MS Office and G-Suites.

Responsibilities

• Teach and Inspire: Instruct small groups of students in English core skills for college readiness exams.
• Track Growth: Monitor student progress through Vanguard's curriculum with individualized growth opportunities.
• Manage and Model: Maintain schedules, hold students accountable for assignments, and communicate professionally.
• Innovate: Develop and execute evolving lesson plans and curriculum.
• Mentor: Guide students through the college application process with empathy.
