Robinhood is seeking a Sanctions Crypto Investigator to join our FinCrimes team in Denver, Westlake, or New York. You will investigate cryptocurrency-related sanctions activity, leverage blockchain analytics, and document defensible conclusions to protect customers and the platform.

The role emphasizes in-person collaboration, rigorous investigations, and partnerships with Compliance, Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to strengthen screening capabilities and resilience against sanctions risk.

• Conduct investigations of cryptocurrency-related sanctions alerts and wallet activity.
• Use blockchain analytics tools to assess sanctions exposure and trace transactions.
• Review matches against OFAC and other sanctions lists and document findings.
• Identify sanctions violations requiring blocking or regulatory review.
• Prepare clear investigative narratives and supporting documentation.
• Monitor evolving cryptocurrency sanctions risks and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Engineering, Product, and FinCrimes teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve investigative workflows and automation.
• Assist with regulatory examinations, internal/external audits, and management reporting.
• Maintain adherence to procedures and SLAs while managing workloads.
