Job summary

Binance is seeking an experienced Sanctions & CTF Investigator to join our Compliance team. This role focuses on in-depth sanctions exposure investigations and counter-terrorism financing activity across Binance’s global platform.

The ideal candidate has hands-on blockchain analytics experience, strong investigative instincts, and solid knowledge of sanctions frameworks in the crypto context. You will report to the Compliance team and work in a fast-paced environment with global impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sanctions/CTF or financial crime investigations in crypto/finance.
• Hands-on blockchain analytics experience with leading tools.
• Strong knowledge of OFAC/UN/EU/UK sanctions and CTF regulatory requirements.
• Ability to produce clear, defensible SARs/STRs and investigation reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end sanctions-related investigations and CTF suspicions across Binance’s platform.
• Perform blockchain tracing and on-chain analysis to map fund flows and links to sanctioned entities.
• Review cases against OFAC, UN, EU and other lists; prepare evidence-based reports and SAR/STR filings when required.
• Manage caseload within SLAs and perform OSINT to enrich investigations and identify connections to illicit networks.
