Robinhood Markets, Inc. seeks a Sanctions Crypto Investigator to assess sanctions exposure across cryptocurrency transactions, digital wallets, and customer activity. You will leverage TRM Labs and similar tools to identify evasion typologies and document defensible conclusions.

The role requires collaboration across FinCrimes, Compliance, Legal, and Engineering, with in-person attendance at least 3 days a week in multiple U.S. offices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial crimes, sanctions investigations, AML compliance, or related field.
• Experience investigating cryptocurrency transactions and sanctions-related risks.
• Working knowledge of blockchain technology and digital asset transactions.

Responsabilités

• Conduct investigations of cryptocurrency-related sanctions alerts and wallet activity.
• Use blockchain analytics tools to evaluate sanctions exposure and transaction traces.
• Review matches against OFAC lists and document investigative decisions clearly.
• Escalate potential violations requiring blocking or regulatory review.
• Prepare concise investigative narratives and supporting documentation.
• Monitor emerging crypto sanctions risks and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to improve screening.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and automation.
• Assist with audits and management reporting.
• Maintain adherence to procedures and SLAs.
