Robinhood is seeking a Sanctions Crypto Investigator to join the FinCrimes team. You will investigate sanctions exposure linked to cryptocurrency transactions, digital wallets, and customer activity, using blockchain analytics and investigative tools to identify potential sanctions violations.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to resolve complex cases, document findings, and contribute to toy enhancements in screening processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial crimes or sanctions investigations within fintech or crypto.
• Knowledge of blockchain tech and assets flows.
• Experience with sanctions screening and regulatory evasion typologies.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough investigations of cryptocurrency-related sanctions alerts and wallet activity.
• Utilize blockchain analytics tools to trace transaction activity and identify sanctions exposure.
• Review and disposition matches against OFAC and other lists with documented decisions.
• Escalate potential violations for blocking or further review.
• Prepare investigative narratives and supporting documentation for stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory developments and emerging illicit finance typologies.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Engineering, Product and FinCrimes teams to improve processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve screening workflows.
