Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is assisting a premier mechanical contractor to recruit a Commercial & Industrial HVAC Journeyman for Wisconsin (Green Bay, Milwaukee, or Madison).

The role offers union-scale pay of $52/hour on a direct-hire basis with a 1st shift, Mon-Fri schedule. The ideal candidate holds a valid HVAC Journeyman Card (or is willing to join the union) with 3+ years of commercial/industrial service experience, a clean driving record, and proficiency with electrical

Qualifications

• Requires valid HVAC 1 Industrial Journeyman Card or willingness to enroll in the local union.
• Requires 3+ years of commercial/industrial service experience.
• Strong knowledge of motor controls, wiring diagnostics, and building automation interfaces.
• Ability to safely climb ladders, access rooftops, and navigate restricted spaces.
• Must have a clean driving record suitable for a regional service vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install high-tonnage commercial/industrial HVAC systems across regional sites.
• Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules to maximize performance.
• Diagnose electrical/controls faults and troubleshoot PLC/building automation interfaces.
• Verify system operation through commissioning and validation to ensure zero-callback quality.
• Serve as a technical advisor to clients and plant managers, providing clear recommendations.
• Lead and mentor developing apprentices on the jobsite, in coordination with pod dispatchers.
