Job summary

United Future is seeking a skilled Commercial & Industrial HVAC Journeyman in Wisconsin. This direct-hire role covers Green Bay, Milwaukee, or Madison regions with a 1st shift, Monday–Friday schedule.

You will diagnose, repair, maintain, and commission high-tonnage HVAC systems while supporting client facilities and projects. The ideal candidate has a valid HVAC 1 Industrial Journeyman Card, 3+ years of service depth, a clean driving record, and willingness to reside regionally in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Journeyman HVAC card and union membership required.
• 3+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC service experience.
• Strong knowledge of motor controls and building automation interfaces.
• Ability to climb ladders, access rooftops, and work in restricted spaces.
• Clean driving record for regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair high-tonnage HVAC systems across regional customer sites.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules to maximize performance.
• Electrical and controls fault-tracing and diagnostics.
• System commissioning and validation prior to job completion.
• Advise clients and facilities directors as a trusted technical advisor.
• Mentor apprentices and coordinate with dispatchers on workflow.
