Job summary

Azul Hospitality seeks a Banquet Operations lead to oversee service details from setup through breakdown in a high-volume environment. You will supervise staff, coordinate with culinary and catering teams, review BEOs, and ensure flawless execution for all events at our property.

The role requires 1–3 years of banquet experience, leadership skills, and certification in Safe Server Alcohol & Food. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and 21+ to serve alcohol.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of high-volume banquet service experience required.
• Hotel/resort banquet experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
• Safe Server Alcohol & Food certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees banquet service operations and events from setup to breakdown.
• Reviews BEOs at each shift and coordinates with kitchen and service staff.
• Supervises, trains, and coaches banquet service staff.
• Coordinates with catering, sales, and culinary teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Manages staff shifts and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Acts as ambassador at the bar during peak hours.
• Ensures proper handling and storage of all equipment.
