Job summary

21c Museum Hotels is seeking an Event Server to deliver outstanding guest service during events and functions. The role requires assisting with set-up and tear-down, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Candidates should have strong English communication skills, basic math abilities, and a professional appearance. Flexibility to work nights and weekends is preferred, with opportunities to learn about the wine and spirits

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills; must be able to speak, read and understand English.
• Beverage knowledge (spirits & beer/wine) recommended.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and guest requests.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Hands on execution of events in coordination with teammates.
• Interact with Event Captains and Event Manager to ensure excellent service.
• Set up and tear down of events per BEO and instruction.
• Provide exceptional service to all hotel/restaurant guests.
• Take orders, serve food and drinks, and clear tables as needed.
• Follow service steps for each event type.
• Demonstrate knowledge of procedures, terminology and techniques used in the B&C department.
