Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle sections, replace parts, and ensure high-quality finishes.

The role requires precision with tools and adherence to labor time guidelines to meet KPIs. You will work with a team in a fast-paced collision repair shop, performing welding, grinding, and repainting, while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of tools and methods used in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan and repair vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle sections with precision.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair or replace glass as needed.
• Weld, fit, and align parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and ensure quality through inspection.
