Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair work. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with team KPIs and upholding the brand promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer is required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents, apply filler resins, and realign car chassis and frames as needed.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass and interior parts as required.
• Weld and fit parts, prepare and repaint vehicles with factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles for quality.
