Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician focused on meticulous assessment and quality repair to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while supporting speed, quality, and customer excellence in a collaborative team environment.

The role requires following standard repair procedures, accuracy in estimates, and adherence to KPIs. Strong attention to safety and the ability to handle equipment in a noisy shop are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.

Responsabilités

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair or replace glass and interior parts.
• Weld and attach parts, prepare and repaint vehicles per factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
