Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver high-quality vehicle repairs and restore pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs and provide excellent customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship, and ability to read job orders, lift up to 30 pounds, and use shop tools safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision in a busy shop.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare repair work and cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections.
• Hammer dents, apply filler, realign chassis, and replace damaged sections.
• Replace glass and interior parts; weld and reattach components; repaint as required.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Collaborate with team members to meet KPI targets and quality standards.
