Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver top-tier repair quality and an exceptional customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring alignment with speed, quality, and customer excellence as part of The Boyd Group family.

You will work with team members to meet KPIs, using tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, and epoxy fillers while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Strong ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Excellent understanding of repair methods and tools used in auto body work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan execution.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates with tools used in repair.
• Repair dents, apply fillers, realign chassis, and replace parts as needed.
• Weld, paint, and reassemble vehicles to factory standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and verify repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
