Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; substitution allowed with related experience.
• Four (4) years of full-time professional experience analyzing programs that determine eligibility for public assistance.
• Experience with county welfare programs, finance structures, regulations, and data sources.

Responsibilities

• Manages CalFresh and Medi-Cal programs, operational activities, and projects.
• Provides management support to Service Center functions including supervision, decision making, and planning.
• Manages and evaluates units providing application processing and ongoing case maintenance.
• Develops outcome measures and ensures goals are met.
• Coordinates with internal divisions and outside agencies to enhance service delivery to customers.
• Supervises and evaluates staff, and assists supervisory staff as needed.
• Monitors staff performance to ensure eligibility determinations comply with laws.
• Directs staff on special projects to meet deadlines.
