The State of Missouri’s Family Support Division is seeking a Benefit Program Technician for the Buchanan County/St. Joseph Resource Center, St. Joseph, MO.

You will help Missouri citizens access food, medical, financial, and nutritional assistance to support safe and healthy lives. You will determine eligibility, interview clients, and prepare summaries while working in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and at least four years of customer service experience OR have a Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsabilités

• Determine initial and continuing eligibility for food, medical, financial and nutritional assistance.
• Interview clients in person and by telephone.
• Prepare summaries and related documentation.
