Job summary

WellLife Network in Elmont, NY is seeking an EES Specialist to manage systems tracking benefit applications and appeals, guiding consumers and coordinating with government agencies to educate and empower them.

Associate degree is required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong verbal and written communication, good follow-up, and Microsoft Office skills are essential. Occasional travel to agencies may be required as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Able to show proper follow-up and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate systems to track benefit applications and appeals.
• Explain possible consequences of consumer’s financial situation.
• Act as liaison between consumer and governmental agencies.
• Screen consumers for eligibility for private and governmental benefits.
• Assist in completing all applications for benefits.
• Travel to governmental/private agencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate information in department database.
