WellLife Network in New York is seeking an EES Specialist to manage benefit applications and appeals, guiding consumers through complex processes with empathy and accuracy.

You’ll serve as a liaison between clients and agencies, explain options, monitor eligibility, prepare reports, and help families access private and government benefits.

This role requires an Associate Degree and strong communication, with a valid NY driver’s license for outreach and agency visits.

Competenze

• Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Work experience with Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities populations is required.
• Must have a valid New York State driver’s license and possession of a vehicle for use while on company time.

Mansioni

• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA at all times.
• Screen consumers to assess eligibility for private and governmental benefits.
• Assist consumers in completing all applications for benefits, appeals, and maintenance.
• Travel to governmental/private agencies for hearings and interviews.
• Maintain accurate information in the department database with consumer documents.
• Prepare narratives, Excel spreadsheets and reports on benefits status.
• Notify department members of emergencies.
• Provide in-service training as needed.
