Job summary

TK Elevator in Anchorage, AK seeks an experienced Superintendent- Service/Repair to oversee field operations, assist mechanics, and ensure cost-effective service delivery. The role requires strong leadership, auditing, and data analysis to maintain high standards and safety.

You will review routes, assist with bids, and ensure compliance with elevator codes while coordinating with sales and training teams. This is a hands-on supervisory position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field; or two years of branch management experience.
• Ability to write reports, proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly to management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
• Ability to interpret complex technical instructions and manage multiple variables.

Responsibilities

• Visits job sites and performs quality audits to ensure route work is efficient and cost effective.
• Performs NIM audits within 15 days of turnovers; identify issues and provide improvement feedback.
• Assist mechanics with jobs, including troubleshooting and on-the-job training.
• Review route profitability using accounting reports and provide data to management.
• Participate in safety trainings and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide input on scope of work and materials needed; calculate labor and material costs.
• Provide feedback to service/repair manager prior to field evaluations.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local elevator codes.
