Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. seeks a customer-focused, operational leader to act as the primary Otis contact for service and repair across Plainview, Manhattan, and Yonkers.

You will oversee field service operations, contract administration, outage responses, preventive maintenance, testing, reporting, and billing coordination while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent with seven years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading a team of field technicians; 2-3 years of management experience preferred for candidates from outside the elevator industry.
• Three to four years of elevator-industry experience preferred for candidates without prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Otis contact for customer service and repair matters; coordinate with customers and partners.
• Lead field service mechanics across shifts; manage scheduling, safety, and equipment needs.
• Monitor outage notifications, coordinate dispatch, ensure timely responses and proper records.
• Prepare outage and incident reports with complete documentation and tracking.
• Plan monthly preventive maintenance within overnight windows and document reports.
• Schedule testing and coordinate third-party witnessing; document findings and repairs.
• Coordinate consolidated monthly invoicing and support billing updates.
• Deliver monthly performance summaries of outages, parts, PMs, and manpower.
• Maintain Salesforce and REMS data; manage user access and training.
• Support project transitions from construction to ongoing service.
• Allocate manpower and materials to improve efficiency and reduce penalties.
