Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation in Pittsburgh, PA, is recruiting a Service Operations Manager to oversee repair, maintenance, and retention of products within the portfolio. You will lead a team of Field Superintendents and Project Managers, manage budgets, and coordinate with the General Manager – Service to support regional objectives.

You will hire and onboard supervisors, drive safety and quality, and foster strong customer relationships while aligning with Schindler’s strategies and culture.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Management, or Engineering.
• Experience in elevator industry or service-oriented business.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory operations business plan in support of region objectives.
• Develop and manage operational budget for cost-effective results.
• Lead a team of Field Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Hire and onboard Service Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Establish procedures and leadership practices for participative management.
• Engage in labor relations with local agents.
• Ensure safety training and process adherence.
