TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Superintendent- New Installation in Columbus, OH to lead construction operations for elevator installations. The role requires overseeing on-site crews, scheduling, and subcontractor management to ensure timely, profitable project delivery.

The position emphasizes safety and compliance, with responsibilities spanning change orders, status reporting, and coordination with owners and engineers to meet budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of construction industry and ability to manage at branch level or equivalent.
• Ability to write reports, proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information to management and customers.
• Ability to analyze problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret complex instructions and adapt to variables.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction and modernization field employees; hire and manage performance.
• Administer and emphasize safety programs; conduct safety audits as needed.
• Plan and direct elevator installations and manpower; use scheduling tools.
• Review job status using reports to identify risk and opportunities; report revenue issues.
• Manage subcontractor schedule and performance on turnkey projects.
• Build strong relationships with owners, contractors, and architects.
• Review and approve change orders, purchase orders, and financials.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of code requirements and SOPs.
