Job summary

Schindler Group in Boise, ID is seeking a Field Superintendent – New Installation to lead project teams on elevator installations. You will ensure safety, manage technicians, coordinate with contractors, and support installation bids and progress meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of technical elevator/construction experience.
• Experience leading/supervising and training personnel preferred.
• Solid problem solving, urgency, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field technicians and build a team environment on projects.
• Manage training and development of field technicians on processes and safety.
• Ensure installations meet quality and safety standards and contract requirements.
• Monitor progress and drive installation efficiency with site visits and reporting.
• Support sales and project management in estimating bids and attending progress meetings.
