Job summary

TK Elevator in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Superintendent – New Installation to lead construction site activities for elevator installations. You will oversee field crews, schedule manpower, and ensure projects align with budgets and timelines.

The role requires strong leadership, safety discipline, and effective communication with owners, contractors, and consultants to deliver turnkey installations on time and within quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction field employees and manage performance.
• Administer safety program and conduct safety audits.
• Plan and prioritize elevator installations and manpower needs.
• Review job status using accounting reports to identify risk and opportunities.
• Manage subcontractor schedule and performance on turn‑key projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, contractors, consultants and architects.
• Review and sign off on change orders, purchase orders and related approvals.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable codes and SOPs.
• Coordinate with corporate departments and attend trainings.
• Resolve complaints and issues with customers and local agents.
• Order materials and coordinate subcontracting portions of installations.
• Conduct weekly crew visits and document findings.
