Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a highly motivated New Equipment Project Manager to oversee coordination of activities on multiple new equipment installation projects in Nashville, TN. The role ensures efficiency, cost containment, and customer satisfaction across multiple projects.

You will coordinate contract activities, work with sales and field operations, and provide regular updates to leadership while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related elevator project management and/or construction experience
• Experience in elevator/escalator industry is preferred
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholders
• Self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
• High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless execution of each project by on-schedule, within-budget delivery and compliance with safety standards
• Deliver first-in-class customer service and adhere to Otis’ Absolutes
• Coordinate all contract activities from award to handover and financial close
• Work with sales and field ops to ensure installation matches contract scope
• Provide regular progress updates to branch, regional and senior leadership
• Communicate with owners, general contractors, authorities regarding project design and scheduling
• Manage billing, payments, change orders, and receivables for projects
• Read and interpret architectural/structural drawings and adjust as needed
• Analyze situations and develop contingencies for estimates
