Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a New Equipment Project Manager to oversee coordination on multiple new construction projects in Fort Worth. You will drive on-time delivery, manage budgets, and ensure safety and quality standards are met across all contract phases.

The role requires strong communication with customers, contractors, and internal teams, plus the ability to read drawings and interpret contracts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related elevator project management and/or construction experience.
• Experience in elevator/escalator industry is preferred
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for developing relationships with stakeholders
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
• High school diploma
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or business administration preferred or relevant experience is required

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time, on-budget project execution meeting safety and regulatory standards.
• Deliver first-in-class customer service and adhere to Otis Absolutes.
• Coordinate all contract activities from award to handover and financial close.
• Work with sales and field operations to ensure installation aligns with contract scope.
• Provide regular progress updates to leadership.
• Communicate with general contractors, owners, managers, architects, and authorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project success from financial and customer perspectives.
• Manage billing, payments, vendor load-ups, receivables, RFIs, and change orders.
• Interpret contracts and modifications to determine cost impact.
• Read architectural and structural drawings.
• Develop contingencies for estimates.
