Job summary

The role requires Florida CET, 5+ years in elevator maintenance, 3+ years supervisory experience, and the ability to lead teams, troubleshoot electrical and control systems, and respond to service calls, including emergency maintenance.

Qualifications

• Florida CET and Certificate of Competency required.
• 5+ years elevator maintenance and repair experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience with ASME A17.1 code compliance.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and determines causes of trouble in brakes, electrical motors, switches, signal and control systems.
• Troubleshoots using computers, test lamps, voltmeters, ammeters and oscilloscopes.
• Disassembles defective units and repairs or replaces parts such as electrical door locks, cables, wiring and faulty safety devices.
• Installs push button control systems and modernizes automated people mover systems.
• Maintains Elevator Cab and lubricates bearing and other parts to minimize friction.
• Maintains elevator systems per code and performs preventive maintenance.
