Job summary

TK Elevator in Sacramento, CA seeks an experienced Superintendent- New Installation to lead field operations on turnkey elevator installation projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence and budget performance.

Candidates should have construction management knowledge and the ability to coordinate with owners, contractors and architects, review change orders, purchase orders and project finances; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of branch management experience.
• Ability to write reports, proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR.

Responsibilities

• Supervises construction field employees, provides direction and training and enforces company policies.
• Administers safety program and conducts safety audits.
• Reviews job status using accounting reports to identify risk and opportunity.
• Manages subcontractor schedule and performance on turn-key projects.
• Maintains relationships with owner, contractors, elevator consultants, and architects.
• Signs off on change orders, purchase orders and other approvals.
• Keeps up-to-date with elevator industry codes and SOPs.
• Mediates client issues and coordinates with local agents to resolve problems.
• Coordinates material orders and sub-contracting portions of installations.
• Makes weekly crew visits to oversee safety and progress.
