Crate & Barrel is seeking an in-store/Home Design Designer to help customers envision possibilities with the latest home design trends. You will guide customers from room enrichments to complete homes, using 2D & 3D floor planning and moodboards to present options that meet brand standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in Furniture Sales/ Home Decor Design or retail/ customer service
• Experience working one on one with clients and recommending solutions
• Proficient in Google platforms, virtual communication, design tool experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and a differentiated experience by providing enriching customer interactions, and providing elevated design offerings in the store, in-home and virtually with customers
• Lead design consultations in person (in-store or in-home) or via email, phone and virtual
• Create elevated designs for customers using moodboards, 2D & 3D floor plans, product lists and customer presentations
• Deliver projects in a timely manner and within determined timelines
• Maintain brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy by channel; Store, E-Commerce, Catalog
• Develop new and lasting relationships with customers through networking and clienteling
• Stay up to date on current design trends and communicate product information
