Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Breakfast Attendant at the La Quinta Phoenix - Scottsdale location. You will provide courteous service in the complimentary breakfast area and help guests start their day with a positive experience.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and the ability to handle busy, guest-facing service with professionalism. A Food Handlers card may be required by the city/county/state.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or hotel experience preferred.
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must meet legal age to serve alcohol and satisfactorily pass TIPs as required by property.
• Must obtain and provide Food Handlers card as required by city/county/state.
• Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions and/or short notes/memos.
• Must communicate professionally when answering phones and greeting guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, friendly service in the hotel breakfast area.
• Greet guests and assist with seating and flow as needed.
• Ensure breakfast area, counters, and stations are clean, stocked, and organized.
• Prepare and serve breakfast beverages and items, including specialty coffee and tea as required.
• Maintain courtesy and professionalism in all guest interactions and respond to special requests.
