Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Community/Retail Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists at Baptist Health Floyd, New Albany, IN. You will handle prescription filling, patient information updates, and point-of-sale transactions in a patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Indiana Board of Pharmacy registration required by hire date.
• PTCB certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with filling and dispensing community prescriptions.
• Enter computer orders, update patient information, and process POS transactions.
• Deliver medications to discharging patients per pharmacist requests.
• Perform nonsterile compounding under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking.
• Support training of new staff and participate in meetings.
