Baptist Health is seeking a Community/Retail Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and manage daily community pharmacy operations at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• If not currently registered, Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration will be required before or on the date of hire (application and fee).
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager with patient-centered service in the Community Pharmacy.
• Fills and dispenses prescriptions, handles computer order entry, updates patient information, and processes transactions at the point of sale.
• Delivers medications to discharging patients as directed by the Pharmacist.
• Performs prescription refills outreach under direct pharmacist supervision.
• Assists with home delivery scheduling and coordination for prescriptions.
• Assists inventory management including order review, returns, restocking, and physical inventory prep.
• Performs simple nonsterile compounding under supervision per USP 795 and state law.
• Assists in training new staff when assigned.
• Escalates patient issues to the Pharmacist when unresolved.
