Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Georgia Professional Teaching Certificate (P-12) with required endorsements.
  • Endorsements in Special Education General/Adapted Curriculum (P-12) Consultative.
  • Georgia Dyslexia Endorsement (FLD872) required.
  • Experience with upper elementary and/or middle school preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct special education services in resource, small-group, and inclusion settings.
  • Deliver interventions aligned to IEP goals and academic needs.
  • Provide specialized instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, and executive functioning.
  • Monitor progress using data and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Develop and monitor IEPs, maintain records, and ensure compliance timelines.
  • Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and related service providers.
