Job summary

Platinum CCTV seeks an Elementary Resource Special Education Teacher to deliver specially designed instruction for K-4 students with disabilities. You will serve as the IEP case manager, collaborate with general teachers and families, and ensure compliance with IDEA and state requirements in the least restrictive environment.

The role emphasizes data-driven progress monitoring, evidence-based practices, and strong communication to support student achievement and equity in learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Georgia Professional Teaching Certificate (P-12) with required endorsements.
• Endorsements in Special Education General/Adapted Curriculum (P-12) Consultative.
• Georgia Dyslexia Endorsement (FLD872) required.
• Experience with upper elementary and/or middle school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct special education services in resource, small-group, and inclusion settings.
• Deliver interventions aligned to IEP goals and academic needs.
• Provide specialized instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, and executive functioning.
• Monitor progress using data and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Develop and monitor IEPs, maintain records, and ensure compliance timelines.
• Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and related service providers.
