Job summary

Isaac School District is seeking a Special Education Elementary Resource Teacher for the 2025-2026 year district-wide. Under the general supervision of the School Principal, you will maximize learning for students with special needs by implementing district approved curriculum and documenting progress.

You will participate in PPTs, assist in developing IEPs, coordinate with agencies, support families, and pursue ongoing professional growth through seminars and collaboration with higher education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
• Masters degree in Special Education.
• State Certification as a Special Education Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments, testing and diagnostic examinations to identify learning issues.
• Participates in PPTs and develops IEPs for students.
• Assists in implementing IEPs and behavior plans with staff and students.
• Coordinates with outside agencies and authorities as needed.
• Maintains records and communicates with parents and stakeholders.
• Supports new teachers with orientation and in-service training.
• Requisitions supplies and maintains inventory.
