Job summary

Responsibilities include collaboration with general education staff, progress monitoring, and regular family communication to ensure access to and progress in the general education curriculum within the least restrictive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate in area of Responsibility.
• Experience planning specialized instruction and adapting curriculum for students with disabilities.
• IEP case management and data tracking required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction in diverse learning environments aligned with district standards.
• Develop and monitor IEPs and related documents with fidelity.
• Conduct formal and informal assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction.
• Communicate with families about programs, goals, and supports.
• Collaborate with general education staff to ensure inclusive practices in LRE.
• Utilize technology for record-keeping and teaching support.
