Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; GACE Basic Skills Test and GACE Special Education General Curriculum Content Test or Adaptive Content test must be passed or exempted
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate required

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Develops, implements, monitors, and reviews the I.E.P. for each student on caseload, at least annually.
• Works with parents/guardians in all aspects of their child’s educational program.
• Maintains lesson plans and uses data on progress toward IEP goals.
• Delivers instruction per program guidelines and delivery model.
• Maintains effective communication with parents and adheres to timelines.
