Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; alternative certification may be accepted with GACE tests fulfilled or exempted.
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate.
• Experience: None.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds; assist with lifts for heavier students.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Develops and manages IEPs and ILPs for each student on caseload.
• Collaborates with general education teachers to provide services.
• Monitors student progress and maintains required paperwork.
