Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a Special Education Teacher for an elementary setting in the Providence area for the 2026-2027 school year. This long-term contract is 35 hours per week and may place you in a resource/inclusion setting or a self-contained classroom, depending on district openings.

You will provide instruction aligned to IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and families, and monitor student progress.

Qualifications

• Rhode Island Special Education license for Early Childhood, Elementary, or Secondary.
• Compliance with the Right to Read Act within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction aligned to IEP goals and district objectives.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress.
• Adapt curriculum for inclusion or self-contained settings and maintain progress documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development.
