Qualifications

• Elementary School Special Education Teacher license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience or ability to support inclusive education, academic excellence, and inquiry-based learning.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Elementary School Special Education Teacher with a caseload max of 33 students.
• Plan, deliver, and monitor specialized instruction aligned to individual education programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general educators, therapists, support staff, parents, and administrators to support student outcomes.
• Manage all aspects of learning needs, behaviors, and, when applicable, facility considerations for students with disabilities.
• Attend and support Parent-Teacher Conferences, and participate in department, building, and LEA professional development, trainings, and meetings.
