Qualifications

• State license in Special Education from Rhode Island DOE.
• Ability to meet Right to Read Act proficiency within one year.
• Experience supporting elementary students with disabilities in resource/inclusion or self-contained settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small group instruction to students with IEPs.
• Adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Support access to the general curriculum within inclusion/resource or self-contained settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff and families.
• Maintain documentation and progress monitoring for IEP compliance.
